Can you make money using a Blog?


What do you think? Directly? I'm not sure. Perhaps. I use this blog to educate and inform my referrals and prospects. Look at this exchange that took place yesterday and tell me if it works or not. BTW, Blogger is a FREE service.

[8:49:42 AM] Prospect (PS): Do you use your Blogger to make money? I have a problem with overspending to advertise in hopes it will make me more money. I don't want to make that mistake over and over again. I am learning not to despise the days of small beginnings. What are your thoughts on how you market?

[11:02:18 AM] Me: I use my blog to educate and inform my downline. Occasionally I pick up a referral or two there. When I make an entry I broadcast it on facebook and twitter. No cost just regular writing on topic - making money online. When I get inspired, I write. When there's a change or important development - I write. That's all. I have topics in mind too that may help you. Marketing using facebook and twitter. Free classifieds. Etc.

[11:04:18 AM] Prospect (PS): Great. It seems when you educate and inform it lowers the anxiety of having to sell. Your blog brought me in and I joined two of your campaigns last night, so it works.

[11:08:10 AM] Me: Put your money somewhere it can make money. Get a plan. Forget selling. Results speak. Happy to have you on board. It just gets better from here. Now you too can use my blog to bring people on. Send them to my blog WITH your referral links. Stress the importance of using your links. Explain the whole process. Tell them to go to my blog to get informed then use YOUR links to sign up if they like. No pressure. None. And I will help you and all your people grow and become profitable. I have many, many different strategies for reducing risk, returning principal, maximizing return, creating income, etc. Happy to help.
